The Executive Branch
The Executive Branch's primary purpose is to "execute" the policies passed by Congress, otherwise known as the Legislative Branch. The primary individuals that make up the Executive Branch are the President, Vice-President and the Cabinet.
The Cabinet -A total membership of 16, 15 Heads of State and the Vice-President. -Each member is appointed by the President and is approved by the Senate. -Each Head of State is in charge of a different department of the government such as the Department of the Treasury or Defense -Each member advises the President because it would be impossible for him to be an expert on all topics. |
